AH rafcea to be run under the Dunedin Jockey Clab Rulea, and new scale of weight for "*ge. . All entries, and acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, aweepatakes, description and age of horse. The jockey's colont, those registered excepted, must be stated in the entrance form, under a penalty of 2 ao«-s, which while unliqidated will disqualify any horae whose «waei* or nominator has incurred such a penalty. All persons intending to withdraw horaea are' required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at least half an hour before the advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine to he imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 aova to the race fund.
