ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber is well known, and-has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete Bet of; Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making; up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot" fail, to'favorably influence the demand 1 for the Company's Manufactures, The attention, of Builders and Contractors is specially: drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of: seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly _ joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all ..works were such advantages are a desideratum. . SEASONED TIMBER for. the Trade will be supplied on favorable terms, which can be learned on application at .the Company's Offices personally, or by. letter. The alteration to the Factory, just completed, has enabled the introduction of various "new woodworking-machines, rendered-necessary by the constantly increasing demand for woodware of the Company's manufacture. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in the world, and the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British andAmerican markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation of the Conipany's efforts..in this direction.;- 'Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly' seasoned by the new process lately. introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore -be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber. The stocks of imported goods comprise a fine selection of Dining-room, Drawing-room, and Bedroom : Suites in lavariety of designs; Pianos by the best makers ; a selection o Parisian goods ; and every requisite for complete furnishing. THE STOCKS OF CARPETS, consisting of Brussels, Tapestry, Kiddier, Felt, and Jute, are specially worthy of inspection, being most varied, and all carefully selected by the Company's London Buyer. .
