Lord Clyde took the following prizes as a yearling : —First at ,Bishopriggs, Kirkinfcnllock, ; East Kilbride, and Johnstone (1866); as a 2-yer t r-old—First at Barhead, Johnstone, Renfrew, and second at Glasgow H.ighland Soeiety (1S87); as a 3-year-old— First at the .Highland Society Shpw, held at •Aberdeen, ISO'S. Dainty Davie's sire—Moffat's Conqueror (imported- from. Conqueror's sire.was Lochfergus Champion. It can be safely asserted that Lochfergus Champion left more prize stallions aud mares than any other Clydesdale hor.-e in Scotland.
