Hvsdjcap Steeplechase of 50 sots; about 3 miles, OTer aach coarse as the Stewards may direct; nomination, 2 sovs ; acceptance, 2 sots. 3. Hack Sexixsg Steep lectiace of 25 sots ; the winner to be sold for L2l, alt surplus money to go to race fond ; about 2 miles, over such course as the Stewards may direct; post entry, 2 sovs ; lOst up. 4. CoaraoLATios Race Handicap of 20 sots ; Post entries, 12; once round; for all horses beaten during the meeting. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to be ran under the Dunedin Jockey Club Rules, and new scale ef weight for ige. . All entries and acceptancas must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary and entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of • horse. The jockey's colons, those reaisterel excepted, must be stated in the entrance form, under a penalty of 2 so «s, wbich while unliqidated will disqaalify any horse whose owner or nominator has incurred such a penalty. _ * All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at least Wf an hour before the advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall p*y a fine to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 sots to the race fund. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of 12 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is con--sidered ; this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexation?. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme lor expenses. _ Ail disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing »hall be decided by the Steward*, or whoever they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme be final. Entries received only nnder these conditions.
