For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 11.50 a.m. The next English mail, via Brindisi and Southampton, will close at this office about the 13th February. Consequent upon the alteration of the times of arrival and departure of the trains, the delivery by letter-carriers will be altered from 12 to 12.30 p.m. ; and instead of 2 p.m. a delivery will be made at 4 p.m., so as to allow of correspondence arriving by the express from Christchurch being delivered.
