All races to be run under the Dunedin Jockey Club Rules, and new scale of weight for ige. All entries and acceptances mast be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse. The jockey's colons, those registered excepted, must be stated in the entrance form, under a penalty of 2 sovs, which whii>: unlicj'idated will disqualify any horse whose owner or nominator has incurred such a penalty. All persons intending to withdraw horse 3 are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or (Jlerk of the Scales at least half an hour before the advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with tliia rule shall piy a fine to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 sovs to the race fund.
