AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.
Mr. George Greenfield reports that he held a sale of furniture, cheese, waggonette, expresses, &e., at bis mart on *.a ay. The attendance was large, and the bidding for most of the lots was very brisk Tbe cheese was all clcare.l oat at from tt\ to Sd per tb ; potatoes. 5s per bag. The expresses and waggonette were passed, the otters made not reaching vendor's reserve, but are for sale privately. The lease ot municipal section 10, block 41, was also passed, but the auctioneer will treat with anyone privately for the sale of it. Furniture fetched fair rates. . ~ Mr. A. H. Maude reports having sold on Satnt (lay, on account of the Board of Governors of the Otago Boys and Girls High School, the tease of section 4, block 4, Oatnarcs town, to Messrs. S-hnniski and Moaa, at the upset price of 3o« per foot. The section in South Oamaru was put up, but did not bring the vendor's pnee.
