HAMPDEN RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.
On Saturday the members of this corps competed for the seventh time for the Company's medal. On this occasion Vol. F. Laurenson proved the winner. Young... ... 23 20 IS—6l Vol. Robert Frame ... 22 22 15—59 Vol. William Donaldson... 20 22 15—57 Vol. William Stewart ... 20 21 15—56 Vol. A. M'Kay 20- 16 10—46 The medal has to be won three times before becoming the absolute property of the winner. It has been won twice by Sub-Lieut. Young, twice by Corporal Riddell, once by Sergt. Bremner, once by Vol. T. Riddell, and once by Vol. Laurenson.
