[from our own correspondent.] London, January 17. Australian wheat is selling at 52s and New Zealand at 51s per 4961b5. The corn market is dropping. Flour is selling at from 44s to 45s per 2801bs. Hides are active at from 6|d to 6jd. Tallow is steady. Victorian four per cent, debentures have advanced 10s, and Tasmanian five per cents, have advanced 20s. The present cash quotations for Australian copper are L 94 and upwards. January 19. The Queen will open Parliament in person. The French newspapers demand that France shall oppose England's gradual annexation of the coast of New Guinea.
