Today was oppressively so. . Wheat.—There is no change in price, the sales of old being very trifling indeed afc 4s 9d to ss. Oats.—The market is unaltered, and rates remain at Is 9d to Is lid. The new crop will soon be in hand, and a fewsmall sales are reported at Is Sd to is 9d for early delivery. Prices, however, for this gratn are not yet settled, and until the feelraff of buy era and sellers is more pronounced, rates are only proximate. Flour is quoted at Ll3 for trade parcels. oras3 beetl.— There is not much to report. In rye-grass, buyers are less desirous of taking seed, and best samples are not worth more than _s 9d to 2s lOd; 2s 6d to 2s Dd is about the value of good average seed. Butter, 6d to ; cheese, 5d to 6d; hams and bacon, lOd; mutton is quoted at l£d; ordinary beef dull at 21s.
