No one present being willing to accept the office of Secretary to the Club, Mr. Atkinson signified his willingness to take the minutes of the meeting and act until a Secretary was appointed. A show of hands was then called for to ascertain lrow many of those present would be willing to enrol themselves as members of the Oluby and resulted in twelve so signifying their intention of support. It was decided that a list of the names be posted up in some public place, so that anyone wishing to join could signify their intention of so doing by adding their names to the list. It was also proposed and seconded that Mr. Hay write to the Secretary of the Milton Farmers' Club, asking for a copy of their rules, also for general information as regards working, &c.
