Wellington, January 8. • The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as follows, under date London, January 6 :—" The wool market is firm. There has been a little private enquiry, and there is a fair trade demand. In tallow stocks of all sorts are 17,000 casks; best mutton is worth 30s per cwt., and best beef 36s 6d. The wheat market is quiet. Adelaide is worth 60s, ind New Zealand 58s per 4961b5. The leather market is firm, and best sides are worth Is Id.
