Baiiic and Humphry, Agcnta, Qamaru. Report of Analysis by Professor Black. Colonial Analyst. University Laboratory, Duncdin, 21st October, IS7S. Thornaa Reynold*, Esq. Sir—l have the honor to report on five samples of Port Wire iorwarded by yon for analysis. These samples may all be described as full-flavored, fruity, aromatic Wines; possessing in a considerable degree that agreeable fragrance that characterises genuine Port. They do not contain imparities of any kind. The perfect frcenena of these Wines from every kind of imparity, tho proportion of ingar and alcohol which they contain being quite characteristic of unadulterated, nnmanipulated Wine, together with their rich Fragrance arising from aromatic ethers, should strongly recommend them, and gain for them a good place in the Colonial market.
