On the second day, after .proceeding with some town sections, Mr. Wallace put up the agricultural and pastoral lands, but the bidding not being satisfactory, the vendor requested that the sale might be withdrawn. At the same time the audience were informed that the estate would be sold privately in lots as surveyed and mapped, and that intending purchasers could visit the property and select what they wanted to purchase. Mr. Martin's son, who resides at Huangaroa, -will point out any sections that parties may require.
