ERECTION OK TIMBER, DRYINGROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procurin.; supplies of thoroughly Soasoned Timber is well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a completo set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this I much-felt want. The Drying llooms are now in full work, and the result lias fully , justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this ennnot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially draivn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone tliia process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect- freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability iu the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of thia Seasoned Timber iu all works wero such advantages are a desideratum. The al. teration to the Factory, just oompleted, has enabled the introduction of various new woodworking-machines, rendered necossary by the constantly increasing demand for woodware of the Company's manufacture. The Factory may now be considered the, most elaborate of its kind in the world, and the expedition with which the most? intricate orders can be dispatched will oommend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, aud are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite in the Ironmongery trade at thq lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in tho introduction of local woods into the manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of thia nature marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber.
