A large sum of money is to be spent in extending the grand stand and making other improvements. WESTLAKB RACING CLUB. Hokitika, November 7. The above Club have issued a programme for two days' racing, on the 26fch and 27th, in Hokitika. The total value of the stakes is L 270. The night of general entry is December 22nd. Hundreds of thousands have thronged to the great International Exhibition from the ends of the earth to witness the wonders there aggregated. The mysterious and delicious products of the vegetable kingdom feast the eyes and excite the appetites of all. G. W. Draper, emulated by the example set by the great International Exposition, has instituted such a show of fruit that there is . no necessity to entail the eyjpeDse of a journey to the other side of the water to feast the eyes, satisfy the appetite, and improve the health. Everybody should go and see the magnificent, show that will be on for a few days at his fruit emporium, Thames-street.
