The Drying Rooms arc now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use on iv such timber, as has been, subjected to tins process in making up Furniture and W oi«Uvoro, and this cannot fail to iavorabiy inliuence the demand for the' Company s Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is.\ specially drawn to the advantages derivable from theuse of timber which has undergone this, process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absenco of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary :&s well as a greater durability in the material employed. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in the world, and the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatohed will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the. British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite* in the Ironmongery. trade at the lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the; manufactures, and the successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber.
