AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. Mr. George Oreenfitdtl reports that he held a sale of furniture, tweeds, Ac., at his mart today. The attendance was large, but the bidding was very slack. THE LABOR MARKET. Mr. Henry Macintosh reports for the week ending Ist November, as follows: The demand for all classes of labor has been steadily maintained daring the week, and we may took forward to a better demand from this time, as the busy season is now on, ftrwt the general appearance of work has very much improved. The supply is still very nroehi greater than the demand, owing to the numbers that have lately arrived. Still with our prospects of an abundant harvest we hope to see the whole of oar present surplus of tabor absorbed very soon. Rates of wages are unchanged. DUNEDIN. [BY tewcwrafb.) October 31.
