I } Vhe^T A i few sates to the millers can be recorded at 4# Sti to 6f, and any brought forward is readily taken up at these rates. Several parcels of chickwheat have been sold during the week at 3s fid to 4s 3d, according to Quality. Oats, if anything, are more depressed than ever, awl sales of any quality are hard to effect. For fadwt quote -s to 2a Id; miffing, 2a 3d to & 4d. Barley— Prices are nominal, there being little or no business to report. Potatoes are almost out of growers' hands, and for the few tons sold dctrratr the post few day a L 5 10s to L 6 has been given. Sales of small seed are also reported at L 3 10a. flour remains at Llto. L! 3, with a good demand. Grass seed is onaltered, and samples continue as difficult to sell as- ever ; prices are nominally 4s to 4s 3d. Dairy produce—Butter is coming freely to hand now, and prices have further given wwr: 3d i* quoted. Cheese, s.sd to fid. Harris and bacon, ff jd to lOd. The supply of cattle and sheep was very large again, and sales were dull: mutton, 2d per lb lor fat sheep in wool, shorn IJd ; beef, 28a per lOGIbs; inferior, 265.
