Quicksilver was imported from England by J. W. Ladbrook, Ksq., to Canterbury in 1564. He was bred by John Coker, Esq., Lynn, Norfolk, by Prick willow. Ilia dam, a Phenomenon mare, the property of John Bond, Esa., Old J'riok.willow, was the champion of all roadsters. HEATHER JOCK has won 4S First Prizes ; which is more than any other sire in the Australian Colonies has done—barring his sire Blackleg. Heather Jock's stock in Victoria have taken First Prizes at the Grand National Shows in Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, and Kyneton, and at Agricultural Societies' fellows too numerous to mention.
