Sir Hercules was sire of Coronation, Faugh-a-ballagh, Irish Birdcatcher, Warlock, Daniel O'liourke, Knight of St. George, and Songstress—all Derb}' and St. Leger winners in Kngland. His grandson was sire of Stockwell, and grandsire of Blair Atho!, Colleen, St. Alb ans, The Marquis, and Whalebone—■ embracing the representative of the purest and most successful racing strain of the present day.
