He also won the Clutha Ferry Handicap, beating Lad v Ellen four others—distance, miles. He ran second to Backbiter for the Lawrence Town Plate, in IS7I ; and won the Publican's Purse at Waiwera—distance, 2 miles. His latest performance was winning the Cromwell Spring' Handicap' (distance, 'lj miles), easily, and he has also been victorious in many other events.
