OAMARU HOSPITAL.

The monthly meeting of tho Committee of this Institution was held last evening, when there woro presentMessrs. T. H. Brown (President), Jle.nlland, Townsend, Montagu, M'lntosh, D. Sutherland, Dunn, and Church (Secretary). The minutes of the last meeting having been read and confirmed, the following report from the Visiting Committee was read and adopted : " Your Visiting Committee have the satisfaction to report that at their monthly inspection on the 13th instant they found at the Hospital everything in a statu of cleanliness and order. " The in-door patients were eight—-Mi-males and two females. " Tradesmen's accounts aggregatin'/L2o' 15s 9d for supplies arc herewith submitted, for payment. " The Hospital is indebted co tho Misses Orr, of Station Peak, and to Mrs. Clowes, for a quantity of illustrated and other papers ; to Mrs. M'lntosh and to Mrs. Lemon for a needful supply of linen and baby's clothing ; and to Mrs. Andrew Gray, of Chelmer-street, for a present of fresh vegetables and rhubarb roots. "Mr. May's complaints as to damage to his property by alleged defective drainage from the Hospital grounds having been looked into, it was found the Hospital was not responsible, but the matter has since been attended to by the town authorities.
