A DISCLAIMER.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE O AMARU MAIL, Sib, —A number of rumors have boan .industriously circulated by Mr. Steward's supporters, and, it is said, by Mr. Steward himself, as to Mr. Shrimski's action in some matters, for the purpose of injuring him. His accusers had not the courage to boldly mention them at Oamaru or any place where they could be contradicted. This would not suit them. I hopo my fellow electors will disbelieve any of the rumors. They are not true, and the persons circulating them know it. They are reduced to disreputable means to their man put in.—l am, &0., One who Knows.
