Brisbane, September 3. The Legislative Assembly has passed the Loan Bill for public works. The Opposition have resumed obstructiveness on another measure. Melbourne, September 4. The Assembly counted out after ten o'clock this morning. No business was done, the Opposition refusing to allow the tariff to be rushed through without public debate. The result of the official enquiry as to the cause of the collision of the steamer Claude Hamilton with a barque in Hobson's Bay, is that the certificate of the captain of the Claude Hamilton has been suspended for three months. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the whole of the items of the tariff, as recently amended, were carried by a large majority.
