RULES AND REGULATIONS. No entry wit! be received for any of the races except on the condition that all disputes shall be decided by the Stewards, whose decisions tn all cased shall be final. Dctnedui Jockey Club Rules strictly adhered to. No protest will be entertained unless £3 3s be: deposited, which witl be forfeited should the protest prove frivolous. Qualification fee, L2 2*. No nomination or entry will be received unless duly qualified. Not leas than three horses to start for each race, or only half the stakes. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes. Nominations to be in the hands of the Secretary not later than the 7th of September. Weights to appear in the local papers on the ISth of September. Acceptances and sweeps to be paid to the Secretary Bp to the night of 29th September, which is the night of general entry. All entries to be staled and addressed to the Secretary, Dantroon. enclosing entrance fees, name and age of horse, and colors of the rider.

The district to extend from Awamoko to Loncslip Station on the Otago side, thence from Lake Ohau to Elephant Hill on the Canterbury side, by the Watershed. All horses qualified must be known to be the bomt Jit,in property of the nominator, and to have been three months in the district prior to the meeting. No horse will be allowed to run that has won L-"0 or over. Second horse to receive half the entrance money in all events. Qualification fee, LI. Three horses to start or no race. . All entries must be sent in to the Secretary, Wharokuri Hotel, not later than 10 p.m. on the night prior to the meeting. _ The Otago Jockey C'u!; rules strictly adhered to. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes. The decision of the stewards in all case to be final. Ifo protest will be entertained unless accompanied with LI, which will be forfeited should the aame prove frivolous.
