The Australian tallow market is moderately active. Mutton : inferior, :51s to 31s 6d ; medium, '32s to 33s ; superior, 35s to 35s 3d. Beef : inferior, 29s Cd to 30s ; medium, 31s ; superior, 32s to 32s 9d. The corn market is firm and steady. Australian wheat is selling at 50s per quarter. Prices at the wool sales remain without noticeable alteration. The total quantity sold during the series is 73,080 bales. August 30.
