[FROM our. OWX CORRESPONDENT.] London, August 12. The present cash quotations for copper are from LGI to LG2. The tin market is firm, with hardening prices. Present quotations, L6l 10s to L<>l Ids. The current Dutch sales show an advance in prices. The corn market is flat, heavy, and inactive. Australian wheat, ex ships John Rennie and Bossanro, is selling at 49s per 4801b. Melbourne oxhides, best heavy, are worth s}d ; Melbourne best light oxhides, 4id ; Sydney best heavy oxhides, 5d ; Sydney best light oxhides, 4jjd. August 13. The tin market is still firm, and prices have hardened considerably. The present quotations for tin are from LGG to LCB. The London Colonial wool sales opened this morning. The total number of bales catalogued was 320,759. The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is moderate. Prices remain without noticeable alteration. Cross-breds show a general decline of a half-penny. Parliament will be prorogued on Friday. The Commission on agriculture has been appointed, and consists of the Duke of Buccleuch, the Duke of Richmond, and Messrs. Spencer and Goschen. It is believed that the hop crops are hopeless. , Grissel has been imprisoned in Parlia.ment. The present quotations for copperrange ' from L6l to LG3. At the wool sales to-day, 88G4 bales were sold. Port Phillip, New Zealand, and Sydney wools preponderate. Prices remain without noticeable alteration, and range about the same as at last series. Sydney, August 14.
