ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber is well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been snbjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and & consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied on favorable terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Offices personally, or by letter. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in tbe world, and the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of <ach vessel from tbe British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lon-esc market rates.
