ERECTION OF TIMBER, DRY TNG ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procurin.' suppliesof thoror :;hly Sen soiled Timber is 'well known, and h;is induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost v. complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to u.-e only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodw-ire, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied on favorable terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Offices personally, or by letter. The alteration to the Factory, just completed, has enabled the introduction of various now woodworking-machines, rendered necessary by the constantly increasing demand for wood ware of the Company's manufacture. The Factory may now be considered the most elaborate of its kind in the world, and the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of ..aeh vetsel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lov.es: market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses r. special featu-f in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, anil till- successful sale of articles of this nature marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class"of work as has been thoroughly .seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed acainst the failure of any articles from the u-e of unseasoned timber.
