The exceptions are John M'JSeil, commission agent, Balclutha (no particulars given), and Mark Dale, Tokomairiro, liabilities LCI46 (assets not stated). The Union Insurance Company lose LISOO, half of which is re-insured, by Mr. Shand's fire. ; Three papers support Mr. Stewart's candidature.
CHMSTCHURCH. July 11. The child Strange, who was brutally assaulted by its father, is recovering.
