The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result fuliy justified the expense incurred. It is intended to u-c only such timber as has been subjected to this process in "making -P Furniture and Woodw'ire, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors ia specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the u-c of timber which has undergone this nrocess of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventualiy lead to the extensive use of this .Seasoned Timber io all works were such advantages are a desideratum. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stacks are of the- most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of i ac'n vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with everj requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates. THE FURNITURE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods into the manufactures, r.ud the successful sale of articles of this iif't'ire marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attenti-m is given to use .only such timber for this class of work as has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lately introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of .it:v articles from the use of unseasoned timber.
