GUTHRIE AND LARNACH'S IVTEW ZEALAND TIMBER & WOODIN WARE FACTORIES COMPANY (LIMITED), TIMBER MERCHANTS, DTOKDEI, N.Z. ERECTION OF TIMBER DRYING ROOMS. —The difficulty experienced by all consumers in procuring supplies of thoroughly Seasoned Timber is well known, and has induced the Company to erect at very considerable cost a complete set of Drying Rooms, capable of seasoning in one parcel over 100,000 feet of timber, to meet this much-felt want. The Drying Rooms are now in full work, and the result has. fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Fnrniture and W oodware, and this cannot fail to favorably influence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this process of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship,as well as a greater durability in the material employed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Seasoned Timber in all works were such advantages are a desideratum. SEASONED TIMBER for the Trade will be supplied on favorable terms, which can be learned on application at the Company's Offices personally, or by letter.

FACTORY DEPARTMENT.—The alteration to the Factory, just completed, has enabled the introduction of various new woodworking-machines, rendered necessary by the constantly increasing demand for woodware of the Company's manufacture. The Factory may now bo considered the moat elaborate of its kind in the world, anrt the expedition with which the most intricate orders can be dispatched will commend itself to the public.

THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks are of the most complete description, and are being largely added to on the arrival of each vessel from the British and American markets. The Company is prepared to supply customers with every requisite in the Ironmongery trade at the lowest market rates.

THE FURNITUHE DEPARTMENT possesses a special feature in the introduction of local woods iuto the manufactures, .nul the successful sale of articles of this 11 attre marks the appreciation of the Company's efforts in this direction. Special attention is given to use only such timber for this class"of work a3 has been thoroughly seasoned by the new process lateiy introduced by the Company, and Customers can therefore be guaranteed against the failure of any articles from the use of unseasoned timber.
