(19031905), lOli; New Zealand consolidated 4J per cents., 100; Queensland 6 per cents. (1013-1915), 94 ; South Australian 4 per cents. (1894-1960), Victorian 6 per cents. (1883-1885), 106; Victorian 4 per cents. (1899), 98£.
The money market is stringent. Rate, If. Tallow is in good request, but without any noticeable change in quotations. Mutton, inferior, 283 3d to 30s ; medium, 31s Gd ; finest qualities, 33s to 33s 3d; beef, inferior, 29§ ; medium, 293 to 80s ; finest qualities, 30s Gd to 31s. The tin market is firm, with hardening prices. Present quotation, L 67 ss.
The corn market is quiet and easy. . Foreign buyers are specially numerous at the wool sale 3. Competition continues extremely yigproug, At to-day's sales 78stQ. balgs yef§ sold, June 15. At the wool sales to-day CBOO bales were sold. There is a strong assembly of buyers from Paris. June XG. The Khedive of Egypt has submitted. Cholera has broken out amongst the force at the Kyber Pass.
