In business dullness has been prevailing during the week, but the inactivity has not been the result of prices, except the sugars, which, through the non-arrival of two vessels from the Mauritius, long overdue, have become scarce, and prices have advanced from 10 to 20 per cent. Hennessy's case brandy is still in short supply, and is held firmly at last quotations. The information against Daniel Osborne for attempted suicide was dismissed, the Bench considering him irresponsible [for his actions at the time. CHRISTCHUECH, June 14. Elizabeth Dawe, charged with attempting to commit suicide, lias been discharged with a caution.
