The Drying Room 3 are now in full work, and the result has fully justified the expense incurred. It is intended to use only such timber as has been subjected to this process in making up Furniture and Woodware, and this cannot fail to favorably ii.fluence the demand for the Company's Manufactures. The attention of Builders and Contractors is specially drawn to the advantages derivable from the use of timber which has undergone this procss3 of seasoning, and which are: A perfect freedom from clinging, and a consequent absence of the unseemly joints so noticeable in ordinary workmanship, as well as a greater durability in the material cmployed. A knowledge of these facts must eventually lead to the extensive use of this Soiwoncd" Timber in all works were such advantages arc a desideratum. THE HARDWARE DEPARTMENT stocks arc of the most complete description, and arc being largely added to on the arrival of ■ach vessel from the British and American markets.
