Government regulations, or else the demurrage of 20s per truck per day will be strictly enforced. Consignees in all cases will pay the railway carriage unless spec'al arrangements are made with the Company to do so. The coal now being raised is of a very superior quality, being from the deep workings, and the Company in placing it in the market at such a reasonable price, feel every c :nfidence in securing the support of Householders, Mill Owners, and all Coal Consumers. A trial of the Coal is only necessary to establish the fact of economy in nsing it, as also in the saving of libnr, in its not making any soot, or dirt of any kind. Good Quality Slack for engines, brickmakers, etc., at 7s per ton at the pit. Ail orders for coal forwarded to the Depots at Timaru, Oamaru, or to the Manager at Shag Point, Palmerston, will receive prompt attention. South Branch. s. d.
