THE Commissioner of Crown Landß for Wellington will sell by PUBLIC AUCTION, on TUESDAY, the 17th day nf JUNE, IST9, at the Athen«eum Hall, Lambton Quay, Wellington, the undermentioned allotments of Freehold Land, in Blocks numbered X., XI., XII., and XIII., on the plan of the reclaimed land, in the City of Wellington. Lithographed plans, as well is conditions of sale, are now ready for distribution at the various Land Offices throughout the Colony. The plans contain the fullest particulars, giving the number of sections, with their area in poles and tenths ; also, the frontage in feet and tenths. TH E Proprietor has determined to offer for Sale by PUBLIC AUCTION, in JULY, that BLOCK OF FERTILE LAND NEAR THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANERAKI, being part of Section 1, Block 15, Oamaru District, about 410 Acres in extent. It adjoins the district road from Oamaru, from which it is distant about eight miles, and is divided from the Elderslie Home Farm by a plantation of pines. Tho land is in the highest state of fertility ; it has been id cultivation for the last ten years, but only two crops of grain hane been taken from it, the last being in IS7S-7; last year it was fallowed, and is now growing turnips, which will bo fed off with sheep h and the land ploughed and made ready to receive any crop which the purchaser may wish to put in. It will be surveyed into sections of about tea acres. Water can be had on each section. It is admirably adapted for residence sites, as it can be reached in fifty minutes from Oamaru, either by a good macadamised road or by the Waiareka Railway, and the views obtainable from the ground are most extensive and very beautifuL It is seldom that such an opportunity occurs of acquiring sections of this size so favorably situated, and possessing the advantages of great fertility, readiness of access and beauty of situation; they must necessarily increase immensely in value as the town and district of Oamaru progresses.
