At a large meeting of the Lambton miners, it was decided to join the other collieries in the Vend system. The manager of the Lambton mine declines to the men's decision ; the miners have therefore given a fortnight's notice. March 19.
A large open-air meeting of an antiChinese character was held in the Domain last night. Another has been called for this evening.
