NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION'S MEETING.

[by telegraph.] Rifle Camp, Nelson, March 11. Match No. 16 was fired this afternoon, for Mr. Hunter Brown's prize, open to all members who have won prizes. Competitors to fire a distance between 600 and 500 yards. Five fire for 90 seconds ; advance to a point between-500 and 400 yards, to be fixed by the commanding officer ; the whole time of firing not to exceed three minutes. First prize, L 5 ; second, L 3; third, L2 ; and four of LI. Forty entered. The prize-takers are—

Match No. 8, ranges 700, 900, and 1000 yards, was commenced early this morning, but the first two ranges only have yet been completed. The leading men are—--700 900
