Publican's Plate,—King Quail, Jenny Lind, Templeton, Titania, Fishhook. _ Flying Handicap.—Chancellor, York, Ratcatcher, Templeton, Moose, Oamballo, Laertes. Timaru Cup.—Chancellor, Templeton, Camballo, Mata. Handicap Hurdle Race.—Milo, Moose, Everslcy, Loyalty, Te Whetu, Pakeha, Agent. Tradesmens' Handicap.—Cloth of Gold. Ratcatcher, Templeton, Titania, Laertes, Camballo, Huntingdon, Pauline, Fishhook. WANGANUI RACES. Wanganui Stakes, 100 sovs., weight for age.—Merlin, Mufti, Pinfire, Resolution. Expectation, Rata. Ladies' Purse.—Grey Momus, Bribery, Merlin, Gladys, Slander colt, Rata, Expectation. Flying Handicap, 50 sovs.—Bribery, Lady Ellen, Otawa, Peep-o'-Day, Confident, Expectation, Parawhenua, Venus Transit.
Handicap Hurdles. —Wirana, Gazelle, Grey Momus, Loch Lomond, Rangatira, Victor, War Eagle. Railway Plate.—Bribery, Marie Stuart, Merlin, Midge, Confident, Expectation, Slander colt. J.C. Handicap, 300 sovs. Pinfire, Bribery, Lady Ellen, Otawa, Resolution, Peep-o'-Day, Expectation, Venus Transit, Rata. Selling Race.—Folly, Ahuriri, Confident, Tidal Wave, Stanley, Hardy, Commission. Maiden Plate.—Satanella, Midge, Port Wine, Forest Queen. Thirty-one entries were received for the Wanganui Derby of 1882. The races are expected to be a great success.
