The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. It was arranged 015 the suggestion of the Chairman, that the School Committee's offer to accept a donation towards a school bell in lieu of payment for use of school for meetings be accepted. Some discussion arose as to the payment of Mr. Farquharson's salary, who had acted as Secretary for a few months. It was eventually decided to pay him what was due, and the Treasurer was instructed accordingly. A copy of the electoral rofl having been purchased by the Committee, it was resolved that 15 enrolment papers be procured and steps taken to get the names of householders enrolled who had been omitted on the same.
