NORTH OTAGO RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

The February competition by members of this Association, was commenced at the headquarters range this morning, when 15 marksmen competed. The ranges were 400 and CGO yavds, with seven shots at each, in any position. The weather was calm, but dull, -while the smoke from the rifles which accumulated during the firing niade |t difficult to see the target, especially at the long range: Notwithstanding this drawback, some good scores were made, Sub-Lieut.
