WELLINGTON RACES. [FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, February 5. " Nemo," in the Post, selects the following winners for the races to-morrow : —Maiden—Merlin, Undine ; Hurdle—Te Whetu., Agent; Cup—Laertes, Maritana, Longlands ; Hutt Park Stakes—Bribery ; Flying Stakes—Ellen, Maritana. There is no betting worth speaking of except on the Cup. Last night's quotations were—3 to 1 Laertes ; 5 to 1 Lara ; 10 J to 15 Longlands, Danebury, Mari-
tana, and Rata ; 100 to 8 Diver ; 100 to 3 Sailor and King Quail. Mufti is not mentioned.
