The Duke of Buckingham desires to come to Sydney as Governor. Other candidates are Sir J. Henry Warde and Sir James Ferguson. Government House wa3 robbed by a well-known gentleman of L2OO of jewellery. He was captured while pawning it. The Heiwae garrison is threatened, and has requested help. General Roberts has arrived.
