SALE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WINDSOR.
Those who are desirous of securing «a plot of land in a delightful and fertile locality would do well to bo present at Mr. A. H. Maude's sale of Mr. Menlove's Windsor township, which will take place at the auction rooms, Harbor-street, on Saturday next, January 11, at 2 o'clock p.m. For suburban residences, the land to be sold is unsurpassable, consisting as it does of well-sheltered hills and vales, both healthful and pleasing to the eye, and it would not be a matter for surprise if, at a not distant date, a very considerable population were located at this spot. It is most advantageously situated as a site for a town, being contiguous to the Windsor railway station, and at the intersection of the Kakanui, Stotfold, and Waiareka roads. The terms being liberal will be an incentive for those who desire to become possessed of a plot of land in this township to purchase ; for, in these days, when at least some of the banks act as though they were in greater straits than their clients, producing unnecessary uncertainty and hesitation, and tending to arrest commercial activity, easy terms are a consideration.
