A ■ new Billiard Room has also been recently erected and attached to the Hotel, which, for its extent, decorations, and completeness is at present unequalled in New Zealand. Four of Alcock's finest Exhibition Tables have been imported from Melbourne for this maguiticent roam, in which lovers ot the game may luxuriate in the midst of all the improved appliances and comforts known to modern art. The Proprietor will bestow special attention in his selection of Wine 3 for this establishment, and only the best will be supplied. Of Spirits, English and Colonial Ales, only the best approved brands, will bo kept. Care will be taken that the staff of servants employed at this Hotel will be only those who are founds prompt and ready to bestow that attention to their wants, together with the full measure of civility which they have a right to expect or. demand. Travellers leaving the Hotel by early Trains will be called in due time, aud Breakfast on the table for them at any hour required. GREAT TRIUMPH OF 'CORMICK'S SHEAF BINDERS OVER ALL OTHERS. At the Paris Exhibition, the M'Cormick Machine was awarded the only GRAND PRIZE given in the Agricultural Department. At the Trial held under the auspices of the Royal Agricultural Society of England at Bristol, August 6th: Decision of tho Judges—M'CORMICK'S SHEAF BINDER fulfilled the conditions of the Society, and was awarded THE GOLD MEDAL. At the Riccarton Trial, January 24th, 1878, three fourths of tho farmers preferred the M'Cormick' Reaper and Binder, and were prepared to give their unsolicited verdict in its favor. At the Kaiapoi Trial, February 7th, 1878, the FIRST PRIZE, given by the Farmers' Club, was awarded to the M'Cormick Machine. At the Oamaru Trial, February 27th, 1878, THE GOLD MEDAL Given by the Northern Agiicultual and Pastoral Association, Oamaru, Otago, was awarded to the M'Cormick Machine. At the Ashburton County Trial, at MetV ven, on March 6th, 187S, the FIRST was awarded to the driver of the only M'Cormick Machine present in competition with Twelve Machines of another make. At the Public Trial, held under the auspices of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association, at the Grange, Taieri, on March 16th, 1878, the thirty Judges appointed were unanimous in awarding the FIRST PRIZE TO THE M'CORMICK MACHINE. Our season's stock of the above Machines is now being landed here from the E. C.
