THE STEWART FAMILY.
As we expected, the better known the Stewart family become the larger the audiences that congregate each evening to witness their acting and listen to their singing. "Without doubt they are the cleTerest artistes in their line that New Zealand has ever*seen, and they present the n.ost enjoyable, mirth provoking, and - innocent entertainment. Last night the hall wat well filled, the occasion being the third performance of " Rainbow Revels," J and the aidience evinced their apprecia- a tion of the efforts of the company to de- ] light them by frequent and rapturous , applause. Tne following new pieces were ■* introduced: —' : The Conspirators Chorus," * by the ladies ; '■ Roberto toi qui J'aime," by Miss Docy ; "It was a Dream," by Miss Nellie ; and " Caller Herrin'," by Miss Maggie. To-night " If" will be performed. We have ahead}' written in unqualified praise of the company's repre- - sentation of this piece. It is interspersed with bright and sparkling music, vocal , and instrumental, and th» burlesque is J very amusing. '
