DUNTROON.

(FROM OUR OW3T CORRESPONDENT.) Messrs. Allen and Stumbles are making great headway -with the bridge across the Maerewhenua. Already the concrete block foundations for the masonry are completed, and there is every promise that there will be as little delay over the superstructure as there has been over the substratum. The Upper Waitaki bridge is not progressing as fast as could be wished, owing to the flooded condition of the river. Annoying delay has occurred in the commencement of our school buildings, owing to the amounts of the tenders received being far beyond the estimate of Mr. Somerville, the Education Board's Architect. Our spiritual wants are now being attended to by the Rev. Mr. Grime, who last Sunday conducted service and baptisecPfive infants. This we consider not bad for a small place like Duntroon.
