Waitaki, Capt. Edie, took her departure for Dunedin on Tuesday night, with passengers and a general cargo. The schooner Cora, Capt. Russell, from Foxton, with a cargo of timber, consigned to Messrs. Adam and King. . Tho Cito and Anna are discharging their cargoes at the Macandrew Wharf. The schooner Cora has gone alongside the Normanby Wharf to discharge her cargo of timber.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, December 10. The Agent-General telegraphs, under date London, Dec. (5, that the ship Wellington sailed for Port Chalmers with 332 immigrants, and the Warwick, with 201 passengers, for Nelson and Wellington. Arrived : Otaki, ship, with a good number of passengers, but no Government immigrants. . , Tho Zealandia's cargo, for London, consists of about 5000 bales of wool, 60 sacks flour, 172 casks tallow, 257 eases preserved meat, and other articles of meat and sundries. Auckland, Dec. 10.
The Mog Merriles has brought from the South Sea Islands five of the crew of the Norwegian brigantine, Jasin, frotn Melbourne, on a trading cruise to the Gilbert Group, which was wrecked on the Boutantan Reef. All hands were saved. Sailed :At 4.15 p.m., Rotorua, for Sydney, Australia for Honolulu, and Hinemoa, for Kawau, to convey Sir George Grey to the Thames.
